Renowned for its stunning hill walking routes, Glencoe offers trails to suit all abilities, from gentle loch-side strolls to challenging climbs.

If you’re looking for an easy start, the Glencoe Lochan trails, located just a short distance from the cottages, provide beautiful forest walks with outstanding views over the loch and the Pap of Glencoe. For a moderate challenge, the Glencoe Orbital Track circles the village offering stunning panoramas of the Glencoe mountains.

More experienced mountaineers might want to tackle the *Aonach Eagach ridge, known as the narrowest ridge on the British mainland, or the Ballachulish Horseshoe, both offering thrilling climbs and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

The famous West Highland Way, Scotland’s premier long-distance trail, passes nearby, providing an opportunity for an unforgettable day walk or even a multi-day hiking adventure.

Our flexible ‘zip and link’ beds ensure a restful night’s sleep whether you’re travelling as singles or couples. Meanwhile, Kentra Cottage, with its spacious open-plan layout and underfloor heating, provides an inviting retreat for couples or solo travellers. The gigantic super king-size oak bed is regularly praised for its comfort, ensuring a refreshing night’s sleep after a day of hill walking.
