Kentra Cottage unfolds as an open-plan haven of tranquillity and comfort, effortlessly blending contemporary living with traditional country charm. The heart of the cottage is a beautifully appointed kitchen, equipped with a halogen hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Everything you need to prepare hearty meals or intimate dinners is at your fingertips. The breakfast bar and dining area provide the perfect spaces for lingering over meals and planning your day’s adventures.
Step from the kitchen area into the cosy lounge, where a sumptuous leather sofa invites you to unwind and relax. Handmade bespoke wooden furniture adds to the homely ambiance, while a large TV/DVD player and an extensive selection of DVDs cater for your entertainment needs on those cosy nights in.
Retire to the spacious bedroom, where the centerpiece is a magnificent solid oak super king-sized bed, complete with a luxury mattress to ensure your restful slumbers. Adjoining the bedroom is the lavish bathroom featuring a large, walk-in shower, an opulent bathtub for soaking away the day, and dual sinks for that touch of added luxury.
The entrance hall provides ample space for storing jackets and muddy boots after invigorating walks in the surrounding countryside. Kentra Cottage’s thoughtful design ensures it is as practical as it is charming, making it a truly welcoming ‘home from home’ during your stay in Glencoe.
Outside our guests can enjoy the secluded garden area, an ideal place to savour your morning coffee amidst the vibrant blooms under the watchful gaze of the nearby hills.
While our usual check-in day is Friday, we strive to accommodate your individual needs. If another day suits you better, please get in touch. We generally have a four-night minimum stay policy, however, depending on availability and the season, shorter stays might be feasible. Please feel free to send us an enquiry.
Additional Information:
Kentra Cottage is ideally located at the heart of some of Scotland’s most stunning walking trails, catering to hikers and walkers of all levels. Conveniently situated within walking distance of local amenities, the cottage is mere steps away from a selection of inviting pubs, charming coffee shops, and a well-stocked local shop to meet all your needs. Venture a little further, approximately 2 miles, to the picturesque village of Ballachulish for an expanded range of shops, restaurants and pubs.
We operate a fair usage policy for electricity, including £100 worth of usage per week (proportional for shorter stays). Meter readings are taken at the beginning and end of each stay. Should there be any additional charges due to excess usage, we will contact you within 48 hours of your departure.
Please note we do not currently facilitate the charging of electric vehicles, but there are several locations near by – just ask us.

At Kentra Cottage, we understand that pets are part of the family, so we happily welcome a maximum of 2 pets for a small charge of £20 per pet per stay.
